This is our last day on earth. We’re all dying tonight. Well, if it was actually our last day on earth, I would like a zombie apocalypse please. Thanks.
ATTENTION: In this post I’m trying to put my thoughts in concrete words and it’s actually a very difficult thing to do. It’s possible it doesn’t make sens.
So this week astronomers discovered 5 planets in orbit around Tau Ceti, a star you can see with the naked eye. With their newest collecting data base technology, astronomers were able to detect smaller planets. The planets would be between two and six times the mass of the earth and one of them would be similar to ours. It’s in a livable zone where it’s not to hot, not too cold and the water on the surface is in a state of liquid. Which means it’s the ideal atmosphere to a possible other form of life. This discovery confirm the idea that almost every stars haveplanets orbiting around them and the galaxy would potentially contain other livable planets around the same size has ours.
Astronomy fascinate me. Probably because of all my unanswered questions… But isn’t it incredible how big everything is? When you really think of it, we are so small!!! Galaxy, stars, sun, planets, earth, country, cities, community, then us. We are smaller then ants for the galaxy. It makes you realize that in life there’s so much things you can’t control and some times you need to just let go of them. Life is always going to go foward whether you like it or not and we can’t change anything. I have a hard time explaining myself about my thoughts on this but in a resumé, we are so small in this gigantic galaxy that no matter what we do it won’t change a damn thing. We will live, grow old and then die. I know, harsh for some but it’s reality. In the end, you may think, are we all doing everything for nothing? Not at all! Why not enjoy it while we are here. You can’t make a difference in the way life goes on in the universe but you can make a difference around you by making youself happy, helping people, inventing new thing and discovering new things. It makes it more enjoyable for you(while it last) and for the next ones to comes. For example, one simple thing I enjoy in life is watching Woody Allen movies. Just by doing what he loves and making movies, he makes a lot of people happy. See where I’m going with this? Life is life(like they say, but everything is everythig you know) and while we are here, enjoy the simple things.
Anyway, here’s some photos of my favorites things/moment from the last couple of weeks.
