Spikes and Studs

{Forever 21 shirt, old pair of leopard flats that I don’t know where I bought them, Call It Spring studded flats}

I recently like the idea of being tough(lol). Unfortunately, I’m not that badass. But it’s by adding little details like studs and spikes that I can feel like Iron Man. I recently bought the shirt at Forever 21 and I really fell in love with it. The combination of golden spikes with a soft aqua colored shirt  is something you can wear casually and confident. With a pop a details like that, it will make people intrigued by it. Second purchase with studs is a cute pair of black studded loffers. These flats goes well with almost everything in my wardrobe. You could wear a very simple outfit like a little black dress or black jeans and a T-shirt and you would still pop out with these shoes. They are very easy and comfortable to wear.

Studs are a must this season.

It Smells Like Poop(uhm, summer)

So I don’t have anything to say… not important at least… so… hum hum… here’s some photos from the past month?(?) These includes some photos taken from my trip to my hometown during Easter. Yeah yeah, I know, we are way past Easter but eh. Better too late than never…

Carrot Raisin Salad(Bunny Salad)

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, I’ve been really busy with work and outside activities. I’m now coming back with the intention of posting as much as I used to. This salad was actually made with the leftovers of carrots I had from the previous recipe, Carrot Cake Sandwich cookie. I had tons and didn’t know what to do so I came across this delicious recipe. This healthy recipe is a great side dish for any dinner or lunch. I stole the recipe from Taste of Home.

Carrot Raisin Salad

The ingredients arreeeee:

  • 4 cups of shredded carrot
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

In a large bowl, combine the carrots and raisins.

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar and milk. Pour over carrots and toss to coat.

Phew! That was hard… not. But I thought it was a great idea for lunch.

Spring My Nails

Wooh! Spring is coming! I just can’t wait to put on my little dresses with my spring boots and walk around wihtout being cold to death. I always feel like a brand new person when I can feel the warmth of the sun on my body. I feel more motivated, more enthousiam about things and super happy! I gathered here some things(really, just a couple) that I’ll be rocking this spring.

One thing I just can’t get enough of is nail polish. I have at least 40 bottles and I don’t even remember the last time I didn’t had nail polish on. So I’m pretty excited about spring 2013 colors. Apperently this season official color is emerald but I’m more excited about putting on pastel colors on my nails.  I gathered my favorite colors in the pastel shades and my 4 favorites in darker shades for when I want to feel badass(lol). Sorry, in the picture the colors appears darker. Oh and I always want to try on new colors, let me know what’s your favorite for Spring 2013!

 1. Lapiz Of Luxury – Essie

2 .Butterfly kisses – L’Oreal Paris

3. Provoke – Revlon(the one in the picture)

4. Where’s my Chauffeur? – Essie

5. Miss Fancy Pants – Essie

6. Tuxedo Chic – Jacob

7. Lupine – Gosh

8. Deeply In Love – Nicole by OPI

Next, this is the accessory I am probably most excited about. They’ve been forgotten since the 90′s and been called ugly, but now time has changed. American Apparel is bringing back the SCRUNCHIES! Yes, those hidious hair accessories your mom made you wear(if you were born in the 90′s). Well I changed my mind and now I just think they are so cute and fun to wear. You can use them for a bun, ponytail, braids and many other ways! I would’ve bought them in every color but I decided to buy one neutral, black and one of the best color for Spring, mint.

And last but not least, a purse that cost me NOTHING. Last Halloween my friend decided to wear a grandma costume so she went to a goodwill store called Value Village and bought the most ugly and grandma clothes you could find. She also bought accessories and a purse she thought would be grandma style(I did NOT say gangnam style). When I saw it I was like: OMG where did you find that cute purse!!? And then she said: That ugly purse!? At goodwill for like 2$! You can have it! And then I was like: ERMERGED! Thank you so much! …  Point of my story is, I should go more often to Goodwill to find tresors like that. Anyhow, I think this purse is pretty. It’s actually navy but in the picture(yes I only have an Iphone!) it looks darker. It goes well with lots of my stuff, it’s small and very practical.

That’s all…

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND EVERYONE!:)
