There’s a band that I really like that I discovered in 2009 and they are called the Avett Brothers. They just shared their new song Live and Die. This single is taken from their next album, The Carpenter, out September 11th.

Ernie Coombs and Kurvi Tasch Split Tape
On this week music blog I’m talking about Ernie Coombs Split Tape release. I already talked to you about this band in my very first post. They are now beginning a new chapter. They recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered their new masterpiece all on their own. The Split Tape basically consist of two bands recording songs and putting them on the same tape. For this, Ernie Coombs and Kurvi Tasch recorded three songs each. The new songs are being released this Wednesday, June 27th but I’m giving you a link here with the three songs from Ernie Coombs. These catchy indie rock songs are available to download for free. Oh, lucky you! If you are in Montreal, you will be able to enjoyed these songs performed live and be part of their crazy show this Wednesday, June 27th at the Escogriffe.
