Spikes and Studs

{Forever 21 shirt, old pair of leopard flats that I don’t know where I bought them, Call It Spring studded flats}

I recently like the idea of being tough(lol). Unfortunately, I’m not that badass. But it’s by adding little details like studs and spikes that I can feel like Iron Man. I recently bought the shirt at Forever 21 and I really fell in love with it. The combination of golden spikes with a soft aqua colored shirt  is something you can wear casually and confident. With a pop a details like that, it will make people intrigued by it. Second purchase with studs is a cute pair of black studded loffers. These flats goes well with almost everything in my wardrobe. You could wear a very simple outfit like a little black dress or black jeans and a T-shirt and you would still pop out with these shoes. They are very easy and comfortable to wear.

Studs are a must this season.

Pop of Pink

{H&M top, Forever21 sweater, Dynamite pants, Spring boots, Booth & Bruce eye wear}

I love long weekends and espacially when I am spending it in my hometown with friends, family and my boyfriend. I’m doing a quick outfit post today because tomorrow, until monday, I’m disconnecting from the Montreal / blog world. Sometimes it just feels right to give yourself a break from everything. It’s hard but I’ll try.

Young Galaxy – New Summer

I’ve never been a big fan of the color pink. I thought it was too girly for me but for some reasons when I started to do fitness I started to like this color more and more. Weird… eh? Now I have at least 5-6 pieces of pink clothing and I think it’s one of my favorite color of the season. I’m not ready to admit it yet… one thing I’m ready to admit thought is how awesome are these pants. A beautiful delicate pastel pink pair of skinny fit pants is a pop of color that everyone needs for this spring season. When I first tried them on I wasn’t sure if it would match with lots of things in my closet but I found them very versatile. It’s very pretty when matched with a striped white and navy shirt under a comfy white sweater with lace.

Have a good long weekend everyone ;)

Pastels and Florals

{Dynamite pelpum shirt, Forever 21 Blazer and Dynamite necklace}

Hey guys! How’s everyone doing this week?! I’m so happy it’s friday even though I work tomorrow… But it means that there’s only one week left until I get to go back in my hometown. YAY!

So this is a quick “outfit of the day” post. I recently went shopping for Spring clothes and I’m deeply in love(LOVE!) with this season trends. It’s all about pastel colors, florals, lace, pelpums, and everything that screams feminity clashing with studs, bold stripes, light leather and daring choices. Best of both world. I wore this outfit at work for the first day of Spring and I really like this outfit, you can’t be in a bad mood while wearing that! You just can’t. I also thought it transitionned very well to the concert I was going to that night. Since the upper body looked busy enough, I simply put on a pair of black skinny jeans to tone everything. To be honest, I was a little afraid to wear floral prints because you need to make sure they are a good print size and that you don’t look like curtains hanging from your grandma 1920′s house. But this shirt from Dyamite did it right. Is it me or Dyamite clothes has become more and more on spot with the trends since last year?

Anyways, have a good weekend! xx

DIY – Chunky Infinity Scarf Tutorial – Arms Knitting

About two months ago I lost my favorite chunky scarf that kept me warm and happy on cold days. Since Spring is here, well, every stores already  exchanged their chunky scarf season to light summer scarf. I couldn’t even find one to replace the one I lost…. I was so sad. And then… Pinterest saved my life. Yeah. I know I’m late but I’ve recently re-discovered pinterest and it’s jsut amazing… I discovered so many things and there is so much DIY to safe money, good apparel websites, appartment ideas and many more. Anyhow, this website is perfect that I stumbled upon this tutorial on how to make youself a big chunky scarf. At first glance I was like, well I don’t how to knit!!! And I’m seriously too lazy to learn!! But then I saw you only needed to knit with your arms. Wait, whaatt? This is the best. And it took me about 30-45 minute for my first time and it turned out really great! I’m now wearing it all the time, everyday, every minute and every second. Not. But it’s a great scarf and it cost me close to nothing.

To not make things too complicated I will simply post the tutorial video from the girl who originally post it. Her blog is Simply Maggie and go check her other amazing things.

In the video she’s only making an exemple on how to do it but for your information I did a twelves stiches scarf and to mesure how long and how many rows I was going to make it I knitted until I could wrap the scarf around my neck twice. FALSE. I knitted until I had no more wool left.

Here’s the video…
